It was a Magical Wedding for Jasmyn & David Hansen


Love was in the air when I entered Jasmyn's house that morning. The excitement and champagne were bubbling over!


One of the most significant challenges of a wedding day is sticking to the timeline. Unfortunate obstacles often come up taking precious time away from planned photography time. This is when my clients are thankful they chose a seasoned photographer who can think quickly on her feet for just the right solution.

Hair and makeup are usually the culprits, and on this day as time slipped away, I knew we needed to find a closer place for the first look.

The photos you will see were taken just a few feet from their home. As we drove by this beautiful walkway, checking the time, knowing we might get 15 minutes for photos if we could get to our planned destination quickly; the one I had scoped out and had specific plans on exactly where I would pose the couple had all not mattered one bit, any longer. Excited that I had found the perfect solution, I quickly messaged David, as he was on his way to the planned location. Luckily he was not far, and the moment was saved. We ended up with a full 30 minutes for photos before heading to the ceremony.


I think you will agree, the location was perfect.
